Programs

BIG BRICKS
Our four-year-old Big Bricks come five days a week. They may be enrolled either in an AM (9:00-11:30) or PM (12:30-3:00) program.

LITTLE BRICKS
Our three-year-old Little Bricks come only in the morning and may be enrolled either in a two-day (Tuesday-Thursday) or a three-day (Monday-Wednesday-Friday) program.

LUNCH BUNCH
Lunch Bunch is an optional extended-day program offered to our AM children. Children sign up that day to stay for up to 3 extra hours. Each child brings his or her own nutritious lunch to eat at school. The afternoon program consists of a balance of supervised playtime both indoors and out.

Curriculum

Little Brick School’s program offers appropriate play experiences that contribute to the physical, social, cognitive, and emotional development of each child. We provide a balance of activities that stimulate learning, offer problem-solving challenges, enhance creativity, and invite curiosity. Experiences that promote self-reliance and build self-esteem are provided to meet the developmental needs of each child.

Little Brick School’s ever-evolving curriculum is based on the Preschool Curriculum Framework as recommended by the State of Connecticut in an effort to standardize the preschool learning experience. Our school has been inspected by the State of Connecticut and meets or exceeds all necessary standards and requirements.
